Car Blaze in Maidstone Sparks Arson Probe

Kent Police have launched an arson investigation after a car went up in flames in Maidstone, causing damage to a nearby house.

Fire Erupts on Glebe Lane

Just after midnight on Monday, January 13, 2020, emergency services were called to Glebe Lane, Barming. A car parked in a driveway was ablaze, with the fire spreading to the exterior of a neighbouring home.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service quickly extinguished the blaze, while officers secured the scene to investigate the cause.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers are hunting for anyone who spotted anything suspicious around the time of the fire. They ask witnesses to call Kent Police on 01622 604 100, quoting crime reference 46/7275/20.
