Urgent Rock Groynes Search for Missing Teen Owen Harding in Saltdean
A desperate joint search was launched this afternoon along the rock groynes of Saltdean for missing teenager Owen Harding. Newhaven Coastguard Team joined forces with Sussex Police for a low tide sweep after Owen vanished over a week ago.
Intense Hunt Yields No Clues Yet
Despite a thorough and extensive search, nothing was found. Detective Inspector Mark Rosser said:
“We have viewed CCTV footage supplied by a member of the public and believe it shows Owen. Within the footage, two people appear who we think are Owen, walking down this road.”
He added: “If you recognise yourself in these pictures, please contact us immediately as you may have vital information.”
Owen’s Disappearance Deepens
It has now been more than a week since Owen was last seen or heard from. Police are continuing an intensive investigation.
“We thank the public for their ongoing support,” said DI Rosser. “While we appreciate people want to help with searches, we urge everyone to follow Government guidance at all times. We’re using all local resources and will coordinate nationwide if we get any hint Owen has left Sussex.”
