Five Charged Over Shocking Teenage Knife Attack in Green Lanes
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in broad daylight on Lanes Walk, Haringey, sparking a major police hunt.
Victim Hospitalised but Released
The teenager was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service on Monday, 6 April. Fortunately, he was treated and later discharged.
Three Teens Arrested and Bailed
Police arrested three 17-year-old males from Hackney on suspicion of attempted murder on 7 and 8 April. They were subsequently released on bail.
Five Men Now Face Attempted Murder Charges
- On Monday, 6 July, the three Hackney teens returned to an east London police station and were charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
- Tishane Johnson-Farrell, 20, of Downs Road, E5, was also charged with the same offences.
- Ibrahim Lunat, 19, of Stellman Close, E5, was charged with attempted murder.
Remanded to Court
All five men were remanded to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 7 July.
