Blaze Breaks Out on Kingswood Estate in South East London
Firefighters rushed to a fierce fire at Sawyer House on the Kingswood Estate late Monday night.
Flames Engulf Second Floor Flat
Just after 10.30pm, crews from the London Fire Brigade were scrambled to a flat on the second floor of Sawyer House, Seeley Drive. Paramedics also arrived on the scene to assist.
Seeley Drive Shut Both Ways
The road remains completely blocked in both directions as emergency services work to contain the blaze. It’s still unclear if all residents have been safely accounted for.
Investigation Underway
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is being investigated by authorities.
