Burglary Duo Nabbed in Wokingham Raid

A man and woman have been charged following a daring early morning burglary in Wokingham.

Burglary and Fraud Charges Laid

Andrew Guard, 32, with no fixed address, faces charges of burglary at a dwelling and fraud. Donna 1, 48, also homeless, has been hit with a charge of handling stolen goods.

The charges stem from a heist on Seaford Road on Friday 9 October at 4.30am, when a haul of valuable collectable items was snatched.

Old Violent Charges Resurface for Guard

Guard is also charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and one count of common assault related to a 20 July 2020 incident on Chestnut Crescent, Shinfield.

Remanded in Custody Ahead of Crown Court Hearing

Both accused were charged on Tuesday 13 October and have been remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on a date yet to be confirmed.
