Drug Suspect Busted in Swindon
Ibby Nabbed with Crack Cocaine and Cannabis
Ibrahim Chafik, aka Ibby, from Cheviot Close, was slammed with serious drug charges. Police charged him with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession of criminal property, cannabis possession, and criminal damage.
No Bail for Chafik
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates on Saturday (06/02) and was denied bail. Chafik is now remanded in custody and will face Swindon Crown Court on Friday, 12 March.
Operation Fortitude Scores Another Win
The arrest came after a stop and search on Friday morning (05/02). Uniformed officers were acting on intelligence from Operation Fortitude, a crackdown on suspected drug dealing in Swindon.
