Paedo on the Prowl: Under-13 Girls Targeted Twice in Shocking Park Attacks
Police are hunting a young perv who exposed himself to girls under 13 — not once, but twice.
Two Creepy Incidents Rock Local Park
The first sickening encounter happened on December 31, 2020, around 5pm. A boy, described as Asian with black curly hair, about 5ft 2ins to 5ft 4ins tall and roughly 15 years old, approached a young girl. He first flashed her before trying to sexually assault her. Thankfully, she screamed and he bolted.
That day, he wore a brown or black padded jacket, black trousers, and black shoes.
Just over two months later, on March 2 at about 4pm, the same or similar suspect showed his filthy self again. This time, he exposed himself and performed a lewd act in front of two little girls.
During the second vile attack, he was spotted wearing a black hooded top with a white circle on the shoulder and white drawstrings, plus grey tracksuit bottoms.
Police Step Up Patrols and Plead for Info
Detectives from Central South Safeguarding are treating these incidents as connected. The young victims and their families are getting support from specially trained officers.
Detective Inspector Richard Poynter said: “I understand that incidents of this nature are both shocking and concerning for the local community. I want to reassure local residents that since these two offences were reported to us we have increased uniformed patrols in and around the park.”
“If you have any information about who this person could be it is imperative that you get in touch with us as soon as possible. Likewise if you have observed a young man acting suspiciously in the park matching the description given please make contact.”
