Ismail Babatunde, aged 28, of Kimberley Avenue, London, was sentenced on 14 February 2022 at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal drug-drive limit, driving without insurance, speeding on a motorway above the limit and resisting a constable in the execution of duty, in Sevenoaks, on 27 July 2021. When stopped he gave a reading of 363 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for a total of 36 months and fined £100. He was also ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and costs of £85.
