Drug-Driving Scoundrel Slapped with 3-Year Ban
Ismail Babatunde, 28, from Kimberley Avenue, London, was slammed with a hefty driving ban after a shocking police bust.
Blazing Over Legal Drug Limits on the Motorway
On 27 July 2021, Babatunde was caught speeding on a motorway in Sevenoaks while driving without insurance and resisting a police officer. But the real kicker? He blew a staggering 363 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine per litre of blood—over seven times the legal limit of 50 microgrammes.
Fined and Disqualified
At Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 14 February 2022, Babatunde pleaded guilty to all charges. He was hit with a 36-month driving disqualification, fined £100, and ordered to pay a £95 surcharge plus £85 in costs. The court sent a clear message: reckless drug-driving won’t be tolerated.
