Urgent Search for Missing Woman Katie Kenyon
Katie Kenyon, 33, vanished after being spotted last Friday. Police say she was last seen leaving a Todmorden Road address with a man. They travelled in a silver Ford Transit van (MT57 FLC) to Bolton by Bowland, north Lancashire. Since then, Katie has not been heard from.
Man Arrested, Police Appeal for Information
A 50-year-old Burnley man has been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries. Detective Chief Inspector Al Davies of Lancashire Police’s Major Investigation Team said, “Katie’s disappearance is out of character and her family are understandably very worried.”
“We are doing all we can to find her. I urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. Especially if you were in Bolton by Bowland or nearby and saw anything suspicious.”
“Did you spot a woman matching Katie’s description, alone or with a man? Did you see the silver Transit van? Dashcam footage could be vital.”
“While someone is in custody, we keep an open mind about what happened. Our team is working round the clock to bring Katie home.”
Family Pleads for Help
Katie’s family are distraught. Her sister Sarah Kenyon posted on Facebook: “It is now a waiting game. We have done everything possible — searched everywhere and contacted everyone.”
