Commuters faced problems this evening after several trains were cancelled from Kentish Town station whilst firefighters dealt with reports of smoke billowing from under train carriage and the track.
London Fire Brigade sent a number of crews to investigate the reports on the soundbound northern line train.
On arrival, crews found smoke issuing from one of the carriages, the train was stopped and the line isolated. Firefighters are inspecting the carriages and engine panels and the track with thermal imaging cameras.
