The terrifying incident unfolded around 4:15pm today as the train approached Queenborough station. Passengers heard a barrage of loud bangs, describing the noise as windows being “shot” or hit by projectiles hurled from people standing outside the train.
One eyewitness recounted: “We were just sitting on the train when we heard a loud bang, then another and another. People outside seemed to be targeting the windows with some sort of projectile, and it happened so quickly. It was a frightening experience.”
Seven Windows Shattered, Passengers Distraught but Unharmed
