Flight EZY63UV from Toulouse was meant to land at Gatwick today (Monday, December 19). But mid-air trouble forced the pilot to declare an emergency and divert to Stansted instead.

Strong Crosswinds Blamed for In-Flight Drama

Sources say “strong crosswinds” caused the flight disruption. The plane was delayed 25 minutes leaving Toulouse and touched down at Stansted at 12:49pm, unable to reach its original destination.

Passengers Left in the Dark

A message on the flight tracker read: “We regret that your flight has been rerouted. This is due to an unidentified problem.” The airline has yet to comment on the incident.

To keep things moving, a connecting flight from Stansted to Gatwick was scheduled to leave at 1:29pm, aiming for a 2:16pm arrival.
