Homeless Shelter in Flames

The fire broke out just after 4.30pm on December 20th inside the building, which is believed to house homeless people. Authorities swiftly closed several roads surrounding the site, with closures expected to remain for some time.

Emergency Services Respond

Fire crews battled the blaze while the Metropolitan Police coordinated safety measures on the scene. Both the London Fire Brigade and Met Police have been contacted for comment but have yet to provide updates.

More details to come as the situation develops.
