Joy Found Seriously Injured After Break-In
Joy Middleditch was discovered conscious but in a critical state at her home. Paramedics rushed her to hospital, but she sadly passed away on Monday, 27 March.
Robbery Took Place Under Cover of Darkness
Police received the call just after 1:50pm on Saturday, 25 March. Officers were alerted to reports of an elderly woman found lying on the floor after a terrifying robbery.
The break-in happened sometime between the evening of Friday, 24 March, and early morning, 25 March, during the hours of darkness.
