Man Attacked After Doorstep Sales Pitch Goes Horribly Wrong
Shocking Assault on Teapot Lane
A man suffered a head injury after an alleged attack in Teapot Lane between 5.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday, 21 March 2023. The attacker had knocked on the victim’s door, claiming to sell household products, before the violent incident unfolded.
Police Hunt Mysterious Salesman
Police are appealing for information to identify the assailant, who is unknown to the victim. PC Wager said: “The victim did not know the caller and we have been making enquiries in the area to identify him.”
Officers have now released a CCTV image of the suspect believed to be linked to the crime.
