Predator Posed as Teen Girl to Groom Boys Online
The National Crime Agency has cracked down on Cameron Osman, 44, from Southampton. Using the online name ‘Lizzielemon’, Osman targeted vulnerable boys on Instagram, MyLol, and Love Crush before luring them onto Google Hangouts, Discord, and Skype.
Masqueraded as Teen Girl in Disturbing Online Chats
Osman spun a sick fantasy, pretending to be a teenage girl in sexualised conversations. He never revealed his true identity, instead claiming his camera was broken. He told victims “Lizzielemon” was from Bristol or Birmingham and confessed a twisted fetish involving dominating boys in school uniform.
Evidence Uncovered, Dozens of Boys Targeted
- Police seized Osman’s laptop and phone.
- He contacted 76 boys aged 12 to 16 across the UK during his crimes.
- All victims have been safeguarded.
Despite extensive investigations, officers found no proof of Osman grooming 123. However, at 123 Crown Court on 2 May, Osman pleaded guilty to 36 charges including attempting to incite and cause sexual activity with a child, sexual communication with a child, and making indecent images of children.
NCA Warns of Ongoing Online Threats
“Cameron Osman callously preyed on vulnerable teenage boys, masquerading as a teenage girl for his own sexual gratification,” said NCA Operations Manager Danielle Pownall.
“If we hadn’t stopped him, he would have escalated to even worse crimes. We’re committed to working worldwide to catch offenders like Osman and bring them to justice.”
Osman is set to be sentenced at the same court on Friday, 30 June.
