43-year-old Zaynul Shaffi was arrested on Saturday. He faces conspiracy charges for making bogus calls that ran from February to October this year. Shaffi is due before city magistrates today (Tuesday).

First Suspect Already in the Dock

The initial suspect, 30-year-old Shahid Khan, was charged last week with perverting the course of justice. Khan is set to appear at the city’s Crown Court on 31 October.
