Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Stabbing in Handsworth

A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of Barry Davison in Birmingham. Stewart McInnes is set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday), West Midlands Police confirmed.

Fatal Stabbing on Uplands Road

Emergency crews were called to Uplands Road just before 10pm on Saturday, 11 October. Barry Davison, 48, was found with multiple stab wounds and sadly died at the scene.

West Midlands Police urge anyone with information to come forward. Call 101 quoting log 4604 of 11 October, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
