Serious Crash Near Romford Road: Cyclist Hospitalised
Emergency crews rushed to Romford Road around 11pm on October 15 following a harsh collision between a car and a cyclist.
27-Year-Old Cycling Victim Flown to Major Trauma Unit
Paramedics and police arrived fast and focused on the injured 27-year-old cyclist. Though his injuries are not life-threatening, he was taken straight to a major trauma centre for urgent care.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.57pm yesterday (15 October) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Romford Road and Katherine Road, Forest Gate. We treated a man before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
No Arrests Yet as Police Probe Incident
The Metropolitan Police shut down nearby roads to investigate the crash scene. So far, no arrests have been made.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At this stage, there has been no arrest. If you saw the incident, or have any dash cam footage that can assist with the investigation, then please call police on 101 stating CAD8548/15Oct.”
