A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murdering Yassin Alama, who was fatally stabbed in Handsworth on 16 November, West Midlands Police confirmed.
Teen Charged with Murder in Birmingham Stabbing
The unnamed teenager was arrested at a Birmingham home on Sunday. He now faces charges of murder and possession of a bladed weapon.
He is set to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today.
18-Year-Old Released on Bail
An 18-year-old man, originally arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Yassin’s family has been updated and continues to receive support from specialist officers.
