Herjit Singh’s Shocking Bus Assaults
Herjit Singh, 38, from Orchard Street, Kempston, has been slapped with a six-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order following a string of nasty assaults on women in Hitchin. Singh pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault by touching. The offences happened on local buses on 16 September 2024, 16 January 2025, and 22 January 2025.
Swift Justice at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court
Singh was arrested on 24 January and charged soon after. At Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on 26 November, he was sentenced not only to the SHPO but also ordered to complete rehabilitation activities. The court placed him on the sex offenders register for five years.
