Herjit Singh, 38, from Kempston, has been hit with a heavy six-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order after a series of shocking assaults on women aboard Hitchin buses. Singh admitted three counts of sexual assault by touching on dates spanning September 2024 to January 2025.

Singh was busted on 24 January and swiftly charged. At Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on 26 November, the judge handed down the SHPO, slapped him on the sex offenders register for five years, and ordered rehabilitation as part of his sentence.
