Teenager Escapes Horrific Assault on Merchant Street
A young woman in her late teens narrowly escaped a terrifying sexual assault in Bristol. The incident happened between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Wednesday, April 30, on Merchant Street. The victim was with friends when a man approached, made a disturbing gesture, and then launched the attack. Thankfully, she managed to flee unharmed.
Two Suspects Caught on CCTV
Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to question in connection with the assault. Details on the suspects are:
- Suspect One: Early 40s, around 5ft 10in tall, medium build, short dark hair, pointed nose, and facial wrinkles. He was wearing a white short-sleeved top and jeans.
- Suspect Two: Younger than the first, slightly taller, with dark hair. Further description is not yet available.
