Dealer’s ‘Bully Line’ Busted in Chatham Drug Sting
Text Bombs Sell Heroin and Cocaine
In November 2021, cops uncovered a mobile phone spraying bulk texts advertising heroin and cocaine all over Chatham. A deep-dive investigation soon revealed the mastermind behind the “bully line”—a phone and drug delivery service—was none other than 24-year-old Mathys Ohoueu.
Locked Up After Raid in Lordswood
On January 13, 2022, officers raided Ohoueu’s Lordswood home armed with a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant. They found him in a bedroom clutching the phone used for those dodgy texts. In the same room, they seized around 40 grams of crack cocaine and heroin valued at over £4,000, along with electronic scales.
Court: Dealer Faces Heavy Sentence
Ohoueu, from Waterfield Close, Thamesmead, pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court to supplying cocaine and heroin and possessing heroin with intent to supply. On June 13, 2022, he was slammed with a tough 4 years and 6 months behind bars.
PC Luke Murray, Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team, said: “This London dealer arrogantly thought he could remain anonymous while wreaking havoc on the streets of Medway. His confidence was misplaced. Our tenacious investigators pinpointed his phone, tracked down his address, and swiftly brought him to justice.”
