Another brazen motorbike robbery has struck London, this time hitting the Bilezzik Gold jeweller’s in Haringey. Locals sprang into action to stop the crooks—but things took a violent turn.

Officers were called at 10:04am on Tuesday, 24 February, following reports that suspects had targeted a premises on Green Lanes. During the incident, a number of members of the public reportedly attempted to intervene to prevent the suspects from fleeing the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers arrived within minutes, at 10:08am, and immediately began securing evidence and making enquiries to identify those involved. At this stage, no arrests have been made.

A spokesperson said the investigation remains ongoing, with officers working quickly to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
