Train chaos has struck Southern Rail services tonight as emergency services intervene on the line between Haywards Heath and Brighton. All train services on this crucial route are at a complete standstill until further notice.

Southern Rail confirmed the disruption at 10:10pm on March 6, 2026, warning passengers: “The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Haywards Heath and Brighton. Services running between these stations are at a standstill until further notice. More information to follow.”
