Big Haul Leads to Court

Two men from Birmingham have been locked up for running a drug supply line in Stafford. Adam Bailey, 43, and Reayarn Douglass, 23, faced Stafford Crown Court on 12 March after being caught in a police sting.

Bailey admitted dealing heroin and crack cocaine, while Douglass pleaded guilty to possessing crack, cocaine, and heroin with intent to supply.

Sentences and Seized Loot

Bailey got a hefty 5 years and 7 months behind bars. Douglass skated with a 180-hour unpaid work order to be completed within 12 months.

Police also seized and destroyed drugs, cash, and drug-related gear found during raids.

Police Raid and Evidence

Officers targeted addresses in Broadeye, Stafford, and Aston, Birmingham, in June last year. They recovered drugs, several mobiles, and cash. Both suspects were arrested on the spot.

Douglass tried to grab an unlocked phone before his arrest but was stopped. Phone data later revealed they were actively selling drugs through April 2025.

Police Stand Firm

“Bailey and Douglass were clearly involved in supplying class A drugs in Stafford,” said Superintendent Victoria Downing of the major crime unit. “The phone messages confirmed their trade. I’m pleased they admitted their offences and hope this acts as a warning we will keep disrupting drug supply across the county.”
