Deadly Attack on Dovesdale Road
Three men have been sentenced over a brutal shooting and stabbing in Bradford that left an 18-year-old fighting for his life. The victim was attacked inside a car on Dovesdale Road on 9 March last year, suffering serious injuries to his face, arm, and back. Thankfully, he has now made a full recovery.
Guilty Verdicts at Bradford Crown Court
Harris Mohammed, 24, from Carr Bottom Avenue, and Riccardo Nadim, 20, of Tarnside Drive, Leeds, were both found guilty of attempted murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Meanwhile, Davian Lewis, 20, of Paley Road, Bradford, was cleared of conspiracy to possess a firearm but convicted of assisting an offender.
Harsh Sentences Handed Down
- Harris Mohammed was jailed for 30 years
- Riccardo Nadim received 28 years behind bars
- Davian Lewis was sentenced to 2½ years in prison
The trio faced justice today, 16 March, at Bradford Crown Court, bringing a close to a violent case that shocked the local community.
