Nighttime attack shocks Portsmouth street
Just after midnight on Sunday, 29 June 2025, a violent scene unfolded on Victoria Road North, Portsmouth. A police officer patrolling the area was flagged down by a distressed man holding up an injured victim. The victim, a 42-year-old man, had been stabbed at a nearby house. The officer immediately gave first aid while another man fled the scene.
Birthday party brawl ends in stabbing
Police investigations revealed the stabbing erupted from a birthday party argument at the address on Victoria Road North. The 42-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital with a chest stab wound but was later discharged after treatment.
Attacker receives six years behind bars
Musa Farah, 24, from Stubbington Avenue, Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm. He pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court on 17 December 2025. On 19 March, Farah was sentenced to six years in prison for the serious assault.
