Midnight Stab Shocks Portsmouth Street
Just after midnight on Sunday, 29 June 2025, terror gripped Victoria Road North, Portsmouth. A patrolling police officer was flagged down by a man clutching a stabbed victim. The 42-year-old man had been slashed at a nearby home. The quick-thinking officer gave urgent first aid as another suspect fled the scene.
Birthday Bash Turns Bloody
Police later revealed the violent stabbing stemmed from a birthday party row at the same Victoria Road North address. The victim was rushed to hospital suffering from a chest wound but was discharged after treatment.
Attacker Jailed for Six Years
Musa Farah, 24, of Stubbington Avenue, Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm. He pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court on 17 December 2025. On 19 March, Farah was handed a six-year prison sentence for the stabbing attack.
