Two brothers have been locked up for a total of 18 years after raping a woman following a Christmas event. The Met Police launched a specialist investigation that finally brought the pair to justice.
Justice After Initial Setback
The victim-survivor praised the Met officers for their dedication in cracking the case. The brothers’ convictions only came after police and prosecutors challenged an earlier court ruling that said there was no case to answer. Determined officers pushed the case through to the Court of Appeal, overturning that decision.
