Justice Still Elusive Almost Two Years On
Ellis Cox, aged 19, was shot dead on Sunday, 23 June 2024 at the Liver Industrial Estate. Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath vowed to keep up the pressure on those responsible.
“I hope this latest arrest shows how our investigation team remain as determined as ever to get justice for Ellis’ family. Time is no barrier to our relentless pursuit of all those involved in his murder.” “Although we have now made another arrest, I urge anyone with information to come forward. It has been nearly two years since Ellis was shot and his family have yet to see justice.” “If you have any information whatsoever, please search your conscience and come forward. The smallest detail could be vital to our inquiries.”
