Tragic Shooting: Young Man Dies After West London Gun Attack
A 20-year-old man has died in hospital three days after being shot in west London. Sebastiaan James-Kraan was found with life-threatening injuries on Templeman Road, Ealing, at around 2:10 AM on June 9. Despite rushing him to hospital, Sebastiaan succumbed to his wounds on June 12.
Family Pays Tribute to ‘Gentle Giant’
Sebastiaan’s family have been informed and a post-mortem is set for next week. They described him as a “kind, loving, gentle man with a beautiful soul.”
“Sebastiaan James-Kraan was cruelly taken away from his family at such a young age. A gentle giant with a heart of pure gold, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Please respect our privacy as we grieve.”
Homicide Unit Launches Investigation
Detectives are leading a murder probe, with forensic teams already at the scene. Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley revealed that Sebastiaan got into an altercation with a group of men before being shot once.
He appealed: “I want to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything around Templeman Road at about 2:00 AM on Sunday, June 9.”
Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson added: “This death caused by gun crime has shocked the community. Our officers are doing everything they can to support this investigation. Our thoughts are with Sebastiaan’s family and friends.”
