Man Found Dead in Luton Flat – Murder Probe Launched
Police from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit have opened a murder investigation after a man was discovered dead in a Luton flat last night.
Body Found in Bury Park Road Flat
At around 6:45pm on Wednesday, officers responded to reports of an injured man in a flat on Bury Park Road. The incident reportedly happened around midday. On arrival, police found the man dead at the scene.
50-Year-Old Arrested Over Murder
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently being held in custody as the investigation continues.
Detective Issues Community Reassurance
Detective Inspector Iain MacPherson said: “We have a presence at several addresses in the area and are progressing several lines of enquiry. We understand this can be unsettling for the community and want to reassure you that officers are working hard to establish what happened.”
