Man Stabbed to Death Near Supermarket in Barnet
Police rushed to Regents Park Road, Barnet, at 9.40pm on Monday, 7 August, after the London Ambulance Service reported a man suffering stab wounds near a local supermarket.
Officers found the man seriously injured. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, he was declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
No Arrests Yet in Brutal Stabbing
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, leading the investigation, revealed the victim sustained his injuries on Regents Park Road near Lichfield Grove before running to the supermarket.
“Anyone around Regents Park Road between 9pm and 10pm on 7 August who saw anything suspicious is urged to come forward,” said DCI Rawlinson.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Police Boost Patrols Amid Community Shock
Acting Commander Will Lexton-Jones expressed his heartbreak over the young man’s tragic death.
“My thoughts are with the family and friends at this devastating time. We will increase police presence in the area as the investigation continues,” he said.
