Teen Stabbed to Death in Radstock Car Park
Radstock was rocked by violence on Sunday evening after a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in The Street car park. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene just after 6.40pm following reports of a disturbance involving several people.
Two Arrested as Police Launch Major Probe
Despite emergency treatment, the teen was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, though formal identification is pending. Overnight, officers arrested an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both currently in custody.
Community Left Reeling – Police Boost Presence
DCI Mark Almond of the Major Crime Investigation Team expressed condolences, saying: “Our sympathies go out to the victim’s devastated family at this horrendous time. Specially trained officers continue to provide support.”
He added: “We know Sunday’s events shocked the community. A thorough investigation is underway. You will see an increased police presence over the coming days as we carry out reassurance patrols and complete essential inquiries.”
