Romford Man Held After Deadly Essex Attack
A 25-year-old from Romford, Essex, was locked up on Monday, 6 December 2021, following a violent incident that left a man dead in Caley Road.
Fatal Assault Sparks Major Investigation
Police launched a probe after a man was found fatally injured at around 3.15am on Saturday, 4 December 2021. Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate quickly moved in.
Five Arrested in Murder Inquiry
- Four other Essex men – aged 28, 18, 18, and 17 – were arrested on suspicion of murder between Saturday and Sunday.
- All remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
- The 17-year-old face additional drug-related charges for cannabis production and supply.
- A 33-year-old Essex woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but has since been bailed until 29 December.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Detectives are urging anyone with information to step forward. They are especially keen on any CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could shed light on the attack.
