Woman Seriously Injured in Birmingham Car Crash

West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to a horror crash on Witton Lane, Aston, Birmingham, at 8.58am. A car slammed into a woman pedestrian, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.

Swift Life-Saving Action at Scene

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Upon arrival, we found a woman who was the pedestrian. She was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained life-threatening injuries.”

“She received advanced life support and trauma care on site from our highly trained team, including paramedics, a MERIT trauma doctor, and a critical care paramedic.”

Rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital

The victim was rushed under blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with the trauma doctor and critical care paramedic continuing intensive treatment en route.

“No other patients required treatment,” the spokeswoman confirmed.
