West London Woman Found Dead at Home – Police Launch Urgent Probe

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are hunting for witnesses after a woman was found dead at her west London home. The grim discovery was made on Sunday, June 23, at a property on Golborne Road, W10.

Welfare Concerns Spark Police Response

Officers were called following worries for the welfare of 70-year-old Rita Fleming. On arrival, police forced entry to the home and found Rita unresponsive. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently being treated as unexpected and unexplained. A post-mortem has already been carried out as detectives scramble to uncover what happened.

Family Supported as Police Appeal for Witnesses

Rita’s next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained officers during this heartbreaking time.

“My team continues to work diligently to establish the events that led to Rita’s death,” said Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. “We are keen to build a comprehensive picture of her movements in the days leading up to her discovery.”

Detective Foxwell urged anyone who saw or heard from Rita between June 20 and June 23 to come forward with any information.
