Tragic Cyclist Death in Bideford Crash
A man riding a pedal cycle was fatally struck by a car on Northam Road, Bideford, last Friday evening.
Fatal Collision Rocks Bideford
At around 6.25pm on 4th June 2021, police were called to reports of a serious crash involving a car and cyclist. The male cyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Road Closed for Forensic Probe
Northam Road was shut for several hours as officers from the Roads Policing Team carried out a detailed forensic examination of the crash site.
Witnesses Urgently Sought
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, the vehicle, or cyclist before the collision. They also want any dashcam footage that could help their investigation. Contact police quoting log number 783 of 4th June 2021.
