Police in Dagenham have uncovered a cannabis factory following an operation in the area, leading to the arrest of one man.
The discovery was made during a targeted investigation, which revealed a significant cannabis-growing operation. Officers seized evidence of the cultivation of Class B drugs and found that electricity was being illegally extracted to power the factory.
A male suspect was arrested at the scene and is now facing charges for cultivation of cannabis, possession of Class B drugs, and the illegal extraction of electricity.
Authorities have confirmed that the premises has been secured, and the cannabis plants have been seized for destruction.
