CCTV Snaps Man Suspected in Purse Theft from Elderly Woman in Ripley
Police hunting a thief who swiped a purse from an 83-year-old shopper in Ripley have released CCTV images of a man they want to question. The victim was shopping at Boyes on Nottingham Road around 1pm on Wednesday, 12 May.
Purse Snatched, Cards Used to Drain Cash
Officers believe the purse was stolen directly from the woman’s bag inside the store. After the theft, the culprit used the stolen cards to withdraw a large sum of money.
