CCTV Snap Released in Shocking Canterbury Sexual Assault Case

Kent Police have launched a public appeal after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Canterbury. Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to as part of their ongoing investigation.

Incident Details: Station Road West

The attack happened on the afternoon of 29 August 2024 in the Station Road West area. A teenage girl was walking alone when a man approached her, trying to start a conversation.

When the girl refused to engage, the suspect allegedly tried to kiss her and made inappropriate physical contact.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man from Canterbury on suspicion of sexual assault. He is currently out on bail while inquiries continue.

Officers have released three clear CCTV images showing the man wearing a distinctive hooded top, riding a white bicycle, and carrying a green Deliveroo bag.
