A child has been rushed to hospital following a road collision in Beckenham on Monday evening.

Crash Shakes Busy Beckenham Junction

The smash happened around 5.30pm at the busy junction of Copers Cope Road and Parkwood Road. Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service, raced to the scene after reports of the crash.

“We were called at 5.32pm on Monday 7 April to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Parkwood and Copers Cope Road, Beckenham. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. Our crews treated a child at the scene, before taking them to hospital.”

Details Scarce as Investigation Underway

The child’s condition remains unknown. The Metropolitan Police have been contacted and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
