Knife-Wielding Robber Strikes in Milton Keynes Theatre District
Thames Valley Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to quiz after a midnight robbery in Milton Keynes.
Couple Held at Knifepoint for Phones
Just after midnight on Friday 6 July, a 25-year-old man and woman were walking from Mr Mulligans Pirate Golf past Revolutions de Cuba towards the Xscape building when a man suddenly appeared.
He pulled out a knife and demanded their belongings. After a brief tussle, he snatched their phones—a pink Samsung S7 and a white iPhone 8 Plus—and fled. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Constable Stephanie Mason of the Milton Keynes Investigation Hub said, “We’re investigating a robbery where a couple had their mobile phones stolen at knifepoint. It was a frightening ordeal for them, even though no injuries occurred.”
She added, “The suspect was in the Theatre District for about an hour before the robbery, talking to members of the public. If you spoke to him, please get in touch—you may have crucial information.”
Spot the Knife-Wielding Suspect?
Police have urged anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image to come forward. “He may hold the key to our investigation,” said DC Mason.
