Drug Dealer Busted in Guildford Hotel with Crack, Heroin and £500 Cash

Mark Shaw, 38, was slammed with a tough sentence at Guildford Crown Court on 29 October 2020 after cops caught him red-handed with Class A drugs. Officers raided his hotel room and found crack cocaine, heroin, £500 in cash, three mobile phones, and loads of plastic wrap – all signs he was cooking up drugs to supply.

Crackdown on Drug Supply

Shaw was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Borough Commander Alex Maguire hailed the conviction as “a great result” and warned it should scare off other dealers targeting Surrey.

“I urge anyone with information about drug dealing in their communities to call us on 101 (999 in an emergency),” Maguire said.
