Drug Haul Found After Man’s Agitated Behaviour
After stopping, officers detained and searched a man inside the car. Despite initial hostility, he became compliant once backup arrived. PC Tinley asked if there were any illegal items in the vehicle. The man admitted he’d “just been to score” and revealed the drugs were stashed in his sock.
“Inside was a scrap of toilet paper containing two off-white rocks wrapped in clingfilm. I suspected this to be crack cocaine and seized the drugs,” said PC Tinley.
The suspect has been reported for summons with possession of a Class A drug.
Police Urge Public to Report Drug Activity
PC Tinley warned: “Drugs and knife crime often go hand-in-hand. Tackling drug offences helps reduce violence in our communities. We urge anyone suspicious of drug activity to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.”
