Fatal Smash on A228: Police Hunt Dashcam Footage After Horror Crash

Deadly Crash Rocks Pembury Northern Bypass

Tragedy struck on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass at around 6.40pm on Saturday 20 December 2025. A black Triumph motorcycle and a light-coloured Jaguar, both heading towards Tunbridge Wells, collided head-on with a silver Ford van coming the opposite way near the Old Church Road junction.

Two Dead at the Scene

Emergency teams raced to the site, but sadly the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, and his female passenger, also in her 30s, were pronounced dead. Their families have been notified.

Police Call for Dashcam Witnesses

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case and is urgently appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the moments before the crash to come forward. Such evidence could prove vital in piecing together what happened.
