Man Assaulted and Hospitalised in Broad Daylight Attack
A shocking assault rocked Lower Stone Street near Mote Road at around 4.40pm on Monday, 14 June 2021. A man in his 20s was attacked by another male assailant and left collapsed on the pavement.
Victim Treated for Head Injuries
The victim was rushed to a local hospital with head injuries but has since been discharged. Police moved fast, arresting a suspect the very next day – Tuesday, 15 June – who remains in custody.
