Teen Girls Stabbed Walking to School in Shocking Croydon Attacks
Detectives in south London are hunting a knife-wielding attacker after two teenage girls were stabbed on their way to school in Croydon.
Police rushed to St Paul’s Road at 8.23am on Friday, 6 November, following reports of a girl injured by a stranger. A 15-year-old victim was stabbed in the arm and taken to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening.
Second Stabbing Two Days Earlier in Croydon
This chilling attack comes just two days after a similar incident at 8.50am on Wednesday, 4 November. Another 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the leg by a stranger on Moffat Road. She was also hospitalised but not seriously hurt.
Both girls attend different schools and are not known to each other, police confirmed.
Police Appeal as Manhunt Intensifies
Detective Inspector David Adams of South Area Command said:
“These attacks are almost identical in nature and I am confident that they are linked. We have released footage from a witness to the second incident and urgently need the public’s help to identify this suspect.
“We’re pulling out all the stops to catch this individual. Extra patrols are now in place around school start and finish times. If anyone has concerns or information, please contact police or speak with officers on patrol.”
